July 27, 2007
The Paramount Pictures panel kicked off with the stars of the upcoming comedy Hot Rod starring Saturday Night Live's Andy Samberg and showing a clip from the movie where his character Rod takes off to his quiet place in a forest where he starts dancing and spoofing the movie Footloose in the scene where Kevin Bacon starts dancing and doing gymnastics but the during one of his dismounts, he starts tumbling down the mountain for a very extended period of time.

Next up was the guest of honor Neil Gaiman giving attendees an exclusive clip from Stardust and the trailer from the highly anticipated Beowulf.

JJ Abrams was next at bat with his new monster movie inspired by Japan's Godzilla showing the trailer that has been shown in theaters and still no title was given but a teaser poster was shown showing a decapitated Statue of Liberty.

John Farrow teased the crowd by doing a pre-recorded message apologizing that he could not make it to SDCC and showed a clip which from the old 70's Ironman cartoon series then popped out from the stage and eventually showed an exclusive first look of the live action movie Ironman starring Robert Downy Jr.

The panel finally finished off with a pre-recorded video from Steven Speilberg from the set of the last chapter of the Indiana Jones movies accompanied by Harrison Ford dawning the old costume, Shia Labeouf, Ray Winstone and Karen Allen.
