New Mega Man Action Figures From Funko

by Jay Cochran
November 02, 2018
Battle the nefarious Dr. Wily and his Robot Masters with four colorful Mega Man action figures. Choose between Mega Man in his traditional blue armor, Thunder Beam Mega Man, and Leaf Shield Mega Man which boasts an Atomic Fire Chase variant with a 1/6 rarity. You can also pick up Mega Manís nemesis, Dr. Wily, to reenact their iconic confrontations. Embodying courage, a passion for justice, and restraint when dealing with his enemies, Mega Man is a credit to his creators, Dr. Light and Capcom. The Blue Bomber can serve as a selfless role model to your other figures. Look for these to be released in December.

I'm not liking the look of the face on these. Looks a little too childlike. Maybe this is targeted at kids rather than collectors? It's a pass for me. Glad they didn't do chases on their Thundercats Savage World line. I've seen one Funko chase of any of their lines in person at retail and I only saw that because it was broken in box.

Im just going to assume that these are probably going to be mini figures, akin to those Nintendo Amiibo ones? Wilys looking the most detailed, and decent I think, overall. I doubt Ill be in the market for these, but its good for those who are.

What scale are these going to be in?

These look like butt. What are these gashapon toys? Why do they incessantly keep making megaman toys and just have variant colors of him and never more robot masters? its just lazy and cheap to keep doing it that way.. make 2 molds and then repaint one many many times in the same wave.. nope, no thank you. Wily looks good tho.
