First Look At Hasbro's 6" Ghostbusters And The Real Ghostbusters Figures

by Jay Cochran
February 21, 2020
Images have slipped out of the Hasbro Toy Fair showroom giving us our first glimpse at Hasbro's 6" Ghostbusters original movie figures as well as figures from the animated series The Real Ghostbusters. It's unclear what scale the Animated Series figures are. We should get better looks at these tomorrow when Toy Fair officially kicks off. Look for Hasbro coverage to begin around 1:30 pm ET.

What im hoping they announce is some figures for the Extreme Ghostbusters series, cause that was the cartoon that hook me up to the franchise in the late 90s.

I just picked up a Pete Venkman and Egon hiding behind some Legos on another aisle. People are scandalous.

That is a classic trick. One that i must say I have used myself in the past but it seems anyone that collects knows to look behind things. My best one was when i hid an old Star Wars Holographic R2D2 with Leia in a wooden cabinet desk display in Caldor. AND...three days later it was still there!!!!

I just wish they were to scale with other figures I collect thats all. I'm not sure if their to scale with previous ones.

Are they not the same size as the originals? They look to be.

I would agree except there is a movie coming. These will last at least until that gets released, and then depending on how successful that is will likely determine how much longer after that Hasbro puts effort into the line.

I just wish they were a bit larger.

Hasbro has been pulling our toy-heartstrings with nostalgia. First, it was the Star Wars Retro wave, now it's TR Ghost Busters. I think G. I. Joe is next.

But the real winner here is the BAF for the 6 inch line, and it'sthe demigod Vinz Clortho!

The packaging sells these figures too!!!!

So...if you want the old figures but cannot find them or afford them...this is the way to go. I am very tempted to get these...AND you know an Ecto1 will be coming soon. Hopefully a firehouse as well!!!

These figures look great! They look just like the originals. The originals are super hard to find and if you find them they are super expensive.
