G.I. Joe Classified Series Haslab Snow Cat Campaign With Less Than 3k Backers Needed To Be Funded

We have hit the first 24 hour mark since Hasbro launched their latest Haslab campaign for the G.I. Joe Classified Series Snow Cat vehicle which costs $324.99.

As I report this the campaign has 5,307 of the minimum 8,000 backers needed in order to move into production.

While that is pretty good for the first 24 hours, it should be noted that it is progressing slower than the previous Hasbro G.I. Joe Classified Haslabs.

Last year's G.I. Joe Classified Series Cobra Rattler Ground Attack Jet Haslab which saw it's campaign launch during San Diego Comic Con needed a minimum 9k backers and had a cost of $324.99. After the first 24 hours that campaign had reached 9,474 backers.

The following year we saw Hasbro launch the Haslab campaign for the G.I. Joe Classified Assault Copter Dragonfly (XH-1) which began on June 5, 2023 and had a cost of $274.99. It needed a minimum 10,000 backers. At the first 24 hour mark that one had 10,005 backers.

The year before that we saw Hasbro launch their Haslab campaign for the G.I. Joe Classified Series Cobra H.I.S.S. vehicle which launched June 29th 2022 and has a price of $299.99. It needed a minimum of 8,000 backers and reached that goal the same day the campaign launched.

We feel fairly confident that the Snow Cat will reach the 8k backers needed to move forward, but it is the first Classified Haslab to take longer than 24 hours to reach that minimum goal.

They kinda won't do that with classified because the brand is so popular. I think the only reason they did this with the Ghostbusters haslab Ecto-1 was because it was a vehicle probably the only haslab vehicle they will ever do for Ghostbusters and the 1/12 line and Ghostbusters line as a toyline is not as popular as gijoe classified and they wanted this haslab to fund guaranteed. Hasbro has had some haslab failures in the past years and because there was 4 different haslabs last year they definitely wanted the Ecto-1 to fund and the cost of this haslab was up there so the value had to be higher because of the price. I know because I backed 3 and it was difficult for me to get the money for the last one by December 11th. But this was a dream toy for me for a long time and I knew some details before it was initially announced as the Ecto-1.

If the hiss tank and Dragonfly become available again they will include way fewer accessories and no electronics and probably no figures. If you still want these haslabs there are fans on the gijoe classified Facebook pages selling these haslabs every day on Facebook. There are always ways to get these online. Life gets in the way of owning toys especially for people with families. I just saw one guy offer up his Dragonfly and hiss tank haslabs for basically below cost to pay for dental bills for his son. There are some deals on gijoe classified Facebook page 2.0 or 6" collectors. It is worth and you can ask other fans for references or if people live near you with haslabs for sale. They really are worth it. I have all of them they are worth the cost especially with the figures. But in invest in haslabs also to pay for future haslabs. I have been doing this since 2018. With the Jabbas Sail barge first haslab it was and is my dream toy.

Yeah, I figure that's the case... if less popular brand, they need to offer more from the start.

I've only backed one Haslab (the Ecto-1) because they've always been announced during complicated seasons for me (the Dragonfly and Snowcat just as I'd been laid-off and the Rattler without a stable income and just doing oddjobs). So a stripped down version of the vehicles (which is what I was most hyped when they announced a GI JOE 6in line) without electrionics, and additional figures, just some weapon effects, would be more than enough for me

Payment successful email came through! Thanks to everyone that backed it!

The Snowcat number got adjusted back up, and is at 16,437 as of right now. It lost about 1100 at midnight. Emily had mentioning that she would have to be adding in international numbers manually. It's likely that at midnight, the system updated and dropped them, because computer systems seem to like doing stuff like that. Now they've been put back.

Glad it got funded! That Q&A got me hopefull to get a reissue of the Dragonfly down the line eventually. That and the Rattler are the 2 I beat myself most over and would love another chance to get

It'd likely be a Tigerfly.

Hopefully it gets fully funded... I kinda wish they'd stop with stretch goals and just do what ghostbusters did and offer everything from the get go. I don't see a point in stretchgoals besides "share this so that we may reach more people!" but I think that approach has stopped working for a while...

Glad that all the tiers were met for those that backed this. But do have to say that I'm getting a little tired of all these crowd funds. Tough on our wallets and running out of space :)

Admiralty_Entertainment - 2025-08-15 @ 4:43 am

Woohoo! Bless all those last minute backers!

Honestly, I would have been happy with just the project funding as I'm not a big fan of those Flint or Lady Jaye variants, but never going to say no to more figures!

Triax - 2025-08-15 @ 4:17 am

Looks like all tiers are funded. Very awesome! Just need some huskies and penguins now to go with the polar bear and the Snowcat bivouaccook-out ?
