Toy Fair 2010 Video - A Tour Of The Masters of the Universe Line From Mattel's Showroom

We have posted a video from last week's collector event with Mattel at the New York Toy Fair which you can check out below. In this video we highlight the Masters of the Universe Classics products that were on-hand and recap all the details about each item shown.

- DC Universe Vs. Masters of The Universe Classics 2-packs - Will be exclusive to Toy "R" Us stores. There will be two different sets released, one with He-Man vs. Superman and one with Skeletor vs. Lex Luthor. Each set will come with a comic retelling the classic DC Comics Presents #47 which has been broken up into two issues for the puposes of these sets. Look for them to retail for $29.99 each and should be out any day now.

MOTUC Large-Scale Figures - There will be a new 12" Tytus figure released. It will be the second large-scale figure released for MOTUC, the first being Battle Cat which was released this month. Mattel plans to due a large scale figure every quarter, pending sales for these figures do well. Tytus will cost $40 and should go on sale May 17, 2010.

Gy-Gor will be the 3rd large-scale figure released and will cost $30.

Weapons Packs - Mattel debuted two new Weapons Packs featuring re-painted accessories of previously released Masters of the Universe Classics figures. There also appears to be some weapons thrown in from the 200x line as well like He-Man's sword. These will be sold on MattyCollector.com in the coming months, possibly April.

Mo-Lorr/Skeletor Two-Pack - This new two pack is based on a sketch from the show "Robot Chicken" where Skeletor has to go to the dentist and get a tooth pulled. You can see the sketch on YouTube by clicking here. Mo-Larr comes with a complete range of dentist accessories and Skeletor is missing a tooth. This set will be offered as a San Diego Comic Con exclusive later this year and should also be sold on MattyCollector.com. This will be one of two Masters of the Universe Classics exclusive for SDCC this year.

For individual figures shown that will be sold on MattyCollector later this year there was the following:

- Evil Lyn w/Screeech - On sale April 15
- Whiplash - On sale August 15
- Count Marzo - On sale July 15
- She-Ra (Will have a vintage headgear piece and one from the cartoon) - On sale June 15
- Moss Man (Two versions will be sold. One with flocked and one without flocked ears) - On sale March 15
- Optik (Has interchangeable head/eyeball) - On sale May 15
- Keldor ( Will be a bonus figure like Battle Armor He-Man was last year) - On Sale June 15
