Though it may not come as much of a surprise, the folks at Bandai have confirmed for us that they will not be offering any kind of ThunderCats exclusive at this years San Diego Comic Con. Originally we had heard rumblings that we might see a 8" Classic Cheetara figure offered, but if their was ever any truth to that one it would seem plans have now changed. As for the overall status of the line, we are continued to be told that they are focusing on rolling out ThunderCats product in support of the global launch of the animated series.
As far as the animated series goes, we tried reaching out to representatives at Warner Bros. who had been our primary point of contact for the show to find out if their would be a 3rd season now that the 2nd one has finished up on Cartoon Network here in the US. We were told we would have to ask the folks at Cartoon Network about that, who at this time we have yet to get a response from.
We want to hear from you in the comments below. Do you want to see more toys from Bandai released or another season of the new animated series air on Cartoon Network next year?
