I think a lot of us are feeling this way - I know I am. Apart from characters that definitely won't get done again anytime soon (hi Monarch) or ones that are going to complete a set (the upcoming Batman Returns assortment for theatrical Batmen), I'm hesitant to spend too much on McMultiverse. Even the Superman 2025 movie figures give me pause since I don't know that they'll scale with whatever Mattel puts out for Supergirl or any other movies/shows going forward...

yeah I mean always Ebay is an option, but I'm not totally sure I want to pay a mark-up for this figure, it feels so 30 bucks no higher kinda thing to me, Like I can be fine without it, I just don't feel dedicated enough to DC properties to spend big dineros on anything.

I get that it's kenner inspired and I love almost all things kenner but this I can do without in the McFarlane line. A great idea for them would be to try and do some Legends of the Dark Knight figures, or Legends of Batman remakes, much like NECA did with their throwback to Kenner inspired Predator line.

Yeah, seems a weird choice when the Keaton mold is right there. Wonder if it's because Neca did a version like that a while back and they want to do something similar but different enough to make those that already have it need to buy this new one? Or if they'd still need to pay Keaton likeness use rights so doing a comic-based version is cheaper?
So why all the love for the gold Kenner figure. I had him growing up and he was fun. But like I enjoyed the bright yellow scuba one more.

Features glow in the dark paint deco. Raiden includes 2 extra hands, staff, 2 lightning bolts, base and collectible art card with stand. Sub-Zero includes 2 ice axes, frozen head with spine, base and collectible art card with stand.
So there is a white Glow in the Dark material!!! Why didn't they used that on the Batman Forever Batmobile?
There were so many colored variants of Batman during the Kenner years Mcfarlane could launch an entire line of them, sadly it won't have the time?

That gold/black Batman looks awesome. Major nostalgia vibes, as I bought the original version for my boys when they were young, so would love to have this. But from this info, there's no way to get it except at the Con or in the after (scalper) market. !#@$%$&$%@@$!
