Got this in today. A little late but very impressed. The wings need to be clipped in but otherwise no assembly. The finish is a nice matte black. Plastic quality is good. The wings were a little floppy but once installed they are very firm. They have some flex to them but do not flop around. The paint detail is amazing, especially considering this cost $20. The little missiles with their red tips really stand out and are nicely done. It's also surprisingly large. It dwarfs the McFarlane Super Powers batwing. There are flip down wheels on the underside but no other features No wheels just molded plastic. The canopy opens to show a pretty nice interior. The dashboard is a sticker but a nice one and the buttons along the sides are molded in and unpainted.
The figure itself is the Batman Returns version, clearly showing the updated Bat-suit in the Bat ab region. Articulation is surprising for both good and bad reasons. The head simply spins while the shoulders have a hinge for outward movement and also rotate 360. The elbow has a swivel and single bend. The legs kick out at the hip forward but the Bat but prevent and significant rear movement. They do hinge outward so you can get a Bat split. There's upper thigh rotation, single jointed knees and a 360 swivel just above the knee. I would have preferred a waist swivel in there or maybe some ankle articulation. Also, a ball joint at the neck for a little upward or side to side motion would have been nice. He does stand on his own which is nice. The cape is a fairly thin fabric, not unlike McFarlane's capes. It's cut at the bottom to mimic the look in the movie and drapes well. There is a hole in the back that lines up with the hole in the back of the figure but serves no purpose in this case. He looks like Keaton as much as any 3 3/4" figure can.
He will sit in the Bat wing but leans a back a little too far, almost like he was in a Bat recliner. The arms must be tucked in under the console as well to get him in far enough to close the canopy.
Overall I am happy with the look and feel of the figure. For a 3 3/4" Spin Mast figure it's pretty darn good (no Bat swears here). But the real gem of this set is the Bat wing. The size, detail and quality of the plastic cannot be beat for $20. It blows the McFarlane version out of the water in every way and the spring loaded gimmicks are not missed here. If you can find this I recommend getting this set. Really a great addition to any Bat collection.
Update, Amazon will deliver Wednesday now. Lets see if that gets pushed back.

The Dark Knight Batmobile Tumber RC vehicle from Spin Master we told you about back in June is now available for pre-order on the Amazon website. This is being released as part of their Batman 85th Anniversary line and is done in 1/15th scale. The cost is $64.99.
Once upon a time I was collecting 4 & 5 inches figs and I was happy .. then I started to want more .. so I started to look for 7 inches.. and McFarlane gave me that .... U should really careful what you wish for !

On June 6 I found this on amazon.com, listed at $19.99, and placed an order. No problems (I live in Canada).
NOW, they tell me it won't ship to Canada and cancelled it. So far I can't find any pre-order listing for it anywhere in Canada. ?
