Is so weird seeing Zod holding the Phantom Zone in which he's currently trapped.
While kind of neat in a "What if Superman: The Movie figures came out back in 1978 and done in Kenner Star Wars Style" way, I have to admit, for this Retro Superman: The Movie line, I would of been more interested if Spin Masters did it in the 1990's 5" Kenner Style to match with the Batman Forever 5" figures they did earlier this year, if only to keep it all together in the same scale. Of course while we all know that Spin Masters is losing the DC License either at the end of 2025 or during the middle of 2026, my thought is that if Spin Masters still had the DC License, they could of continue to do Retro 5" Kenner style lines for both the Christopher Reeve and the 1989-1997 Batman movies. Mind you, it means nothing now, since we know its coming to an end, but just a though over all.
I will say though, that instead of doing a "Retro" line, if Spin Masters or even Mattel once they get the license back, does some 6" Christopher Reeve Superman Movie figures, that would be great. I think it was a shame back when Mattel had the DC License, that they didn't do a 6" Christopher Reeve Superman figure. They did a 12" figure, and a 4" Multiverse figure, but never a 6" Well or Super Articulated figure. I feel like for the 6" DC Multiverse line they were doing before the DC License ended(The 1 based on Live Action Movies and T.V. Shows specifically), they were probably planning on doing a Chris Reeve Superman figure as a "Down The Road" in a future wave, only to loose the DC License before they could even work on it. Of course, whoever wants to make a Superman figure may also have to deal with Christopher Reeve's Estate in order to get his likeness to make a figure.
We've had 4", 7", 12", 18", and 6" In Cloth Costume Christopher Reeve Superman figures. I think we all just want a Regular Plastic 6" Well or Super Articulated Christopher Reeve Superman figure for our 6" Collection, as I personally would want 1 with a felt cape(Not picky about it being wired or not, just so long as it's a felt cape). Oh, and not as a Convention or Store Exclusive, but a Regular Retail Release(If they want to do a Convention or Store Exclusive, maybe do some sort of special packaging/Deluxe version with extra accessories, or some sort of Exclusive 2 Pack, but otherwise, just at least a Regular Single Retail Release).

I hear ya. I've wanted a Terence Stamp Zod in 6" or 7" for the longest time.
The only ones i like sculpt-wise are Lex and Lois. If i saw them in person would pick them up.
Are the Jor-El figures gonna be 3 million more expensive than the others??

These look pretty good , I can't believe toddfather hasn't done all these figures yet
These look great although thevplastic capes and thr white in the eyes don't really fit with the retro style.
Love these, will get these. Would love them more if they still used the sculpt esthetics of these figures but used the more updated articulation of their previous 4 JLA/Batman figures. Kinda feels like they are throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks jumping around in scales, styles and articulation. Ill take the 5poa just wish it was ball joints.
the Batman Forever line is 5 inchers
the previous Mattel Multiverse Reeves Superman & Zod are way better than these
