I almost thought they wouldn't get a pedestal or a stand, because they are only visible in the box (I was afraid they would fall like the barn door).
The Spin Master Kaiju is almost better than the McFarlane version. By the way, in the blurry picture where we first saw these figures, I noticed (except for McFarlane) what a weird barrel body they made for Superman, I guess they couldn't build that lame costume any other way (I could be wrong).
Yikes these look terrible.
That Kaju is pretty lame (even Kong and Godzilla are better), Metamorpho is pretty ridiculous in those short pants, why does Superman only get one fist?
If you missed Krypto, the two pack is still up at Best Buy.

I think I'm going to wait and see how I feel about the movie before jumping on to ordering anything for it. While I generally like Gunn's output, if this winds up feeling like another impact-free, "came and went" film like the majority of DC's recent movies, I don't know how essential it will be for me to display anything from it. Especially if it winds up being a dog (again, like the majority of DC's recent movies).
Also, in while in more ordinary circumstances I would always lean more towards the deluxe versions of things, $8 more than the typical (already overpriced) Collector Editions even *before* the tariff stuff gets put into the mix, for something that only comes with one extra set of hands, a couple of face plates and what looks to be an unarticulated Krypto seems like a hard ask in terms of value-per-dollar. I suspect the NECA might be the better buy if that's the pricing territory McFarlane wants to play in. But we have yet to see what that looks like, of course.
Edit: also, I just noticed how little articulation that Kaiju figure has. Two Arms up and down only, Waist spin only, head spin presumably, and *maybe* tail spin? $50 for THAT? They are genuinely out of their minds. I bet it's ABS plastic too like that terrible Movie Doomsday figure. Gross. Get ready for huge discounts on that when Amazon gets tired of storing pallets of it 3 months after release.
Edit II: Apparently the NECA fig is an 18 incher, so nevermind on that score.
