Last week we showed you an image from the Four Horsemen giving us a comparison of the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ultimates Raphael figure coming from Super 7 with that of the old classics Playmates Toys version. Now we have another image showing the new Splinter along side the original one. Baxter Stockman and the Foot Soldier will round out the first wave of figures coming from Super7.

Id be curious to see a poll or something indicating who plans on buying the NECA Turtles lines, who plans on buying the Super 7 Turtles line, and who plans on buying both (I guess we could throw Playmates into that equation too). Personally I plan to pick up the NECA lines (presuming I find them at the store) and this Super7 line but if I had to pick only one or the other Id end up going with NECA.

Playmates I usually start off saying Im not going to collect, but then they end up going on sale and deep discount so I end up grabbing them. So I guess I end up collecting all of them too just not as actively.

I want these but with Super7 doing 4 different Ultimate figures per month its going to be hard to keep up with these. That said I plan to try.

Love that Splinter, but i'm holding out for Neca. For one thing, the price tag on these Super 7 figures is ridiculous.

This looks fantastic, and the TMNT figures I've been waiting for, I really hope this line doesn't just scratch the surface and gives us some of the more odd ball characters (looking at you Mutagen Man and Wyrm)

Ah sweet nostalgia. This figure is on my list for must haves. Looks like I'm getting these and the Neca ones.

Looking forward to the end results and hoping the line will be successful enough to expand to the other iconic figures from the original line. Been very happy with what Ive seen in the prototypes so far.

Since it's Super7, I'm sure they'll lose the shading on the final product anyway, but I'm really not a fan of that dark orange shading they put on the torso.

The rest of the figure looks great though. It's like they made the toy how you remember the original to be.

I have feeling actual production figure mightslightly different in size, and surely it Ill be much different look wise, hopefully no shinyplastic look.
