oh man that looks awesome but I dunno if I want a super glowy Slash . my brain says yes my wallet not so much. Heck my LJN toy version Mum-ra has come in and its like I need to save but it looks so cool
There's just something continuously frustrating (and shady) about the constant and consistent stream of teases and announcements from Super7, all the while struggling to get out the next wave of figures we paid for 2, sometimes 3 years ago. Not to be accusatory, but this stinks of another one of those cases where the company is just constantly posting pre-orders for future projects just to finish projects that should have already finished by now. Of course, I work in an industry where I've seen several companies crash and burn (literally) by operating under this type of system. The further you push it out the less likely you'll ever catch up. While I love their figures and I appreciate what they're trying to do I've cancelled all my Super7 orders after waiting over 2 years for them to fulfill just one of my Thundercats orders. As a (hopefully) unintentional circumstance it's starting to seem that companies like Super7 are contributing to the rise in prices of products from some of the bigger manufacturers like Mattel and Hasbro. When they see people being charged and paying upwards of $50 per figure, many times of characters from their IP's, for work that is maybe just a little better, sometimes less, than what they produce and charge half the price for, and then have to wait years to receive them, why wouldn't they test the waters to see how much they can actually get from the consumers before they revolt?
