Why on Earth would BigBadWorkShop make a G.I. Joe greenshirt literally right after Classified releases the exact same figure? We were just talking about Super7 v. Hasbro in another thread and here another company decides to follow in well-trodden footsteps.

That's an odd choice to roll with for sure, but they could very neatly veer away from a trademark conflict simply by give the figure a camo paint app over the uniform and gear. That would set the look apart from what Hasbro is doing. Otherwise, this looks so close to Hasbro's stuff it makes me wince. Ouch.

I gotta say again.....renders are great but at this point, there really should be some figures in hand.

I was literally going to say the same thing, that would be an awesome Henry Gyrich stand in for Legends, I might get it just for that.

They did a Benton Quest figure too! LOL.

I'm betting the alot of people will be getting the guy in blue for the.hooded head.

Two of them would also work, hopefully, for suited bodies for Tomax and Xamot.

BBTS has a lot of interesting stuff coming, but they are really having a tough time getting these off the ground. Those Phantom Force troopers and the second wave of that Monster series have been seriously delayed.

I'm still curious about the generic soldiers and the cheerleaders/NPCs they have coming. But it's hard to get excited about Mythic Legions-type preorder timelines.

From the desk of BigBadWorkShop! The factory is putting the finishing touches on two of the upcoming Soldiers of Fortune figures! These figures are further along in the production process and will be arriving before the rest of the series. The reason for the time difference is that we created new, upgraded premium articulation for the joints on our future projects. The tooling is almost done, so BigBad anticipates the rest of Series 1 to arrive towards the end of this year if all goes according to plan.

If you haven't pre-ordered your Soldiers of Fortune figures at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com now is a great time to do so!

In the cartoon, I believe that's accurate. The vintage 1988 toy however...

He had the cyborg body in the cartoon as well - he just wore regular clothes over the top instead of a belly shirt and zoot suit chaps ?
