APPLESEED Alpha Play-Arts Kai Figures

Square Enix has released official images for their upcoming Play-Arts Kai APPLESEED Alpha Briareos Hecatonchires & Deunan Knute figures. No word on release dates or price as of yet.

Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions and Lucent Pictures Entertainment announced earlier this year the sci-fi adventure Appleseed Alpha. The CG-animated film will be the latest installment in the franchise based on the original Appleseed manga by Shirow Masamune and published by Seishinsha.

Appleseed Alpha which is billed as a reboot film is said to depict the early days of Deunan and Briareos in search of the legendary city of Olympus. Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed, Starship Troopers Invasion, Space Pirate Captain Harlock) will direct and Joseph Chou (Appleseed Ex-Machina, Halo Legends) will produce.
