Chronicle Collectibles is thrilled to bring to Jurassic Park fans worldwide the 1/6 scale figure of Dr. Alan Grant. Featuring a fully articulated body, Dr. Grant includes a fine assortment of accessories, including a pair of gloved hands holding a baby raptor, a hand holding a flare, and two swappable portraits in the likeness of actor Sam Neill.

Adorned with a custom-tailored reconstruction of Grant’s costume from the original film, this figure will allow Jurassic Park fans the freedom to recreate their own vision of Dr. Grant to idealize the figure’s presence on desk or shelf.

They look great, and I would have liked them maybe 3 or 4 years ago. But the 1/6 collector market to me is sort of like a housing bubble, itwas bound to burst sooner or later. Hot Toys put many collectors on a path of self destruction. It was ok in the beginning but before long there was a two or three must have Hot Toys figures coming out every couple of months. With the coming of well made 1/12 figure options in recent years many collectors decided to opt out of the madness and start collectingfor fun again instead of fear of aftermarket prices.

The likeness looks a little off, but I think it's just the expression. He looks pissed here, but that doesn't seem to fit the character. Raptor looks very cool, but 1/6 is too big of a scale to collect dinos in for me.
