DC Comics President Geoff Johns Teases New DC TV Series

With the success of the CW's DC superhero series of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow. DC Comics president Geoff Johns posted via Twitter that another DC Comics series was is in development, and “will be announced soon.”

If a fifth superhero series is in development, it doesn't mean the series will be added to the CW lineup but could be sold to a number of other stations currently showing DC licensed shows such as Fox and AMC. Known shows in development include WGM America with a pilot order of the graphic novel Scalped. Fox is developing a Black Lightning series with executive producer Greg Berlanti and Syfy is working on Superman prequel Krypton.
