Warner Bros has released a new movie poster and banner for for Zack Snyder's "Justice League."
Supposedly, the first installment of a two-parter, the film takes place after the events of "Batman v Superman" and "Suicide Squad." While using a top-secret government list of metahumans -- and with the help of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Bruce Wayne (aka Batman aka Ben Affleck) tracks down three mighty warriors in the hopes of forging a superhero alliance against a "faraway" enemy.
Besides the Dark Knight and the Amazon princess, members of the "League" consist of a young tech-savvy speedster name Barry Allen aka Flash (played by Ezra Miller, from "Fantastic Beasts"), a fish-talking folklore hero named Arthur Curry aka Aquaman (former "Game of Thrones" actor Jason Momoa), and a cybernetically reconstructed college athlete named Victor Stone aka Cyborg (newcomer Ray Fisher).
The film, which also stars J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, and Amber Heard as Aquaman's partner, Mera, further expands the DC cinematic universe, setting up possible solo film projects for the Flash and Aquaman.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, J.K. Simmons, Amy Adams, Connie Nielsen, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Amber Heard, Joe Morton, Billy Crudup, Ciaran Hinds, Kiersey Clemons, Willem Dafoe, Jesse Eisenberg, Henry Cavill
