Check out the brand-new extended TV commercial for "Godzilla: King of the Monsters," featuring new footage from the highly-anticipated kaiju sequel, which pits Godzilla against three of his biggest adversaries: Rodan, Ghidorah, and Mothra.
Following the global success of "Godzilla" and "Kong: Skull Island" comes the next chapter in Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' cinematic MonsterVerse, an epic action adventure that pits Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history. The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species -- thought to be mere myths -- rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity's very existence hanging in the balance.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters stars Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, Sally Hawkins, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Charles Dance, Zhang Ziyi, Ken Watanabe
The first new movies was ok. I really hope that this one is better. Has all the potential.
@GojiBill is excited for it I guess.
Yes I am!
2014 was a mediocre, but it did a good job establishing the new cinematic world and I loved the Legendary design. Now that they have the origin out of the way, they can run with it. Dougherty appears to be doing the source material justice and has added iconic features to the 2014 design. Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah look amazing and have a shown a lot of character in their limited trailer time shown so far. Im really hyped for this film.
They got me on the trailer for the last one, but I didn't care for that one at all. I'm not too interested in a sequel, the trailer looks good, but I'm not going to be fooled twice!
I really hope they get to capture the feeling of scale of destruction in this movie. Hopefully we get a lot more Kaiju action. Last one was a bit lacking in Godzilla, kind of like the last TF movies that were more focused on the human characters.
