According to
Deadline, the SyFy network has opted not to renew Krypton for a 3rd season. The Superman origin drama series ended with the August 14th Season 2 finale and with this series getting canceled, Syfy also won’t be proceeding with the previously announced Lobo spinoff, which had been in development.
Sources are reporting that Krypton producer Warner Horizon Scripted Television is in conversations with other outlets and the upcoming HBO Max streaming platform are considered the most logical options as DC content has been a focus for both. Past seasons of Krypton already run on DC Universe. Season 1 is currently streaming on DC Universe, with Season 2 coming in 2020.

The important take-away here is: Sy-Fy may have cancelled Krypton, but this is the network who okayed an Ian Zeiring penned spiritual successor to Sharknado. Is that REALLY a neiborhood you wanna hang out in?

Good. Lobo deserves better.
Oof.... another one bites the dust. DC just can't seem to keep shows running.
Wow, well the Lobo spinoff being cancelled shouldve happened for it even was considered. Krypton being cancelled is sad because it actually got to be a better show but it was nothing amazing unlike the DC Universe shows which ARE really good.
