well in the comics Starman is not Courtney's dad she just assumed he was

Finally got a chance to watch this week's episode. There were two VERY cliche places the ending could have gone, and disappointingly, it went to one. That was the most CW the show has been so far. *shakes head*Also, is that Casper Van Dien as Courtney's fake dad?
