Whether they’re allies or foes, it’s the combinations of characters in any given moment that makes Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms so intriguing – as evidenced by the four new images released today. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation in coordination with NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the feature-length animated film will be distributed by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment on Digital, Blu-ray, and 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack on August 31, 2021.

- MKL-2 – Jax-Kintaro

Jax (and his newly added robotic arms) makes for a worthy opponent to the massive Kintaro in one key match-up within Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms. Ikč Amadi (Mass Effect 3, Mortal Kombat 11) and Dave B. Mitchell (Mortal Kombat 11, Call of Duty franchise) provide the voices of Jax and Kintaro, respectively.

- MKL-2 – Liu Kang-Jade-1

Liu Kang faces several formidable foes in Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms, and Jade and her multifunctional staff rank among the most dangerous. Jordan Rodrigues (Lady Bird, The Fosters) is the voice of Liu Kang, and Emily O’Brien (Days of Our Lives, Constantine: City of Demons) gives voice to Jade.

- MKL-2 – Scorpion-Raiden

Raiden and Scorpion travel two different paths – toward the same basic goal - in Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms. Dave B. Mitchell (Mortal Kombat 11, Call of Duty franchise) and Patrick Seitz (Mortal Kombat X, Agrretsuko, Naruto: Shippuden) provide the voices of Raiden and Scorpion, respectively.

- MKL-2 – Smoke-Sub-Zero

Smoke does not go lightly in his training/sparring with the new Sub-Zero in Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms. Matthew Mercer (Critical Role, Justice Society: World War II) and Bayardo De Murguia (Tiny Pretty Things) provide the voices of Smoke and Sub-Zero, respectively.

Looks pretty great! Very on par with the previous movie so thats awesome. Also love that we are getting some tournament action too! And love seeing lots of jobbers characters in the trailer, cant wait for them to get destroyed. These friggin movies look like they are going to be so on point with the source material, it makes that live action movie so much more of a joke than it already was. I do also like that they have some characters in newer games outfits and some being in their classic looks. I feel it mixes well with the artstyle.

I enjoyed the first one and its over the top gore. I do feel the final act was a little rushed, so maybe this will help with that since it's a continuation.
