The project is being directed by Jaume Collet-Serra with Johnson from a draft by Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani. Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions producing with Beau Flynn of FlynnPictureCo. FlynnPictureCo’s Scott Sheldon will serve as executive producer.
"Black Adam" is slated to open in theaters next summer, beginning on July 29th, 2022.
Aesthetically Dwayne looks perfect for the role. But he's not the best actor, the last time I saw him meet my expectation was in Gridiron Gang.
Looks pretty promising so far. Maybe this movie will help break the DC curse.
He looks great although he would look even better if he got Black Adams trademark height but I guess Rock wants to make this character his own to higher degree. Now it's up to JSA to look as good to give him good company both visually and narratively, JSA inclusion was great idea to make this movie way more interesting and hopefully it's done well enough.
