Sony Announces Another 'Ghostbusters' Movie During CinemaCon

Sony made the announcement during CinemaCon that the fifth Ghostbusters movie is in the work. No talent attachments were revealed.

The last Ghostbusters movie, Ghostbusters: Afterlife was directed by Jason Reitman and centered around the grandkids of Dr. Egon Spengler. The movie pulled in a total of $326.6M bringing the franchise’s global worth to $938.2M.

The key is not to get a big head about how well the first one did and then go and screw it up like WB did with Wonder Woman '84.
