Warner Bros. Discovery Cancels Their 'DC Fandome 2022'

September 1, 2022
Warner Bros Discovery has decided not to have a DC Fandome 2022 this year.

For the past two years, DC has held a virtual confab because of the pandemic, where they featured new trailers, from their TV series and movies. This past summer, DC attended San Diego Comic-Con with Dwayne Johnson, showing footage for Black Adam and Shazam: Fury Of The Gods.

The cancellation this year is based on the string of DC movies being pushed back to 2023 with the Shazam sequel now coming out on March 17th, and Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom moving to next Christmas. The Flash premieres on June 23rd and the Blue Beetle is set for August 18th.

The so-called leadership of Warner Brothers Discovery appear to have a large disconnect with the DC fanbase. They don't have a clue as to how to reach these fans. Their missteps as of late have been detrimental to the franchise. Oh well, I guess they'll learn the hard way.
