Stephen Amell To Reprise Arrow Role For The Flash's Final Season

After we reported that David Ramsey (John Diggle aka Spartan), Keiynan Lonsdale (Wally West/Kid Flash), and Sendhil Ramamurthy (Ramsey Rosso/Bloodwork) will guest star in episode nine in the upcoming season of The Flash. TVLine has now confirmed that Stephen Amell will also guest-star in his original role as Oliver Queen/Arrow in that same, ninth episode. Additional guest castings for The Flash Season 9, include Batwoman alum Javicia Leslie in a secret-ish capacity, and Nicole Maines as Supergirls Nia Nal aka Dreamer.

As soon as our final season was announced, we knew we wanted Stephen to come back and reprise his iconic role as Oliver Queen, The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace said in a statement. After all, it was Oliver who originally launched Barry Allen on his heroic path. Thats why everyone on Team Flash felt so strongly that it was important to create a full-circle moment with Olivers return in the final season of The Flash.

Episode nine of the final Flash season is being directed by original Flash cast member Danielle Panabaker.
