Entertainment Weekly is reporting that The Walking Dead alum Michael Cudlitz has been cast as Lex Luthor for the third season of The CW's Superman.
According to the official character description, Cudlitz's Lex Luthor is known to the world as the visionary billionaire behind LexCorp, but secretly, the criminal underworld knows who Lex truly is: a brutal psychopath who terrorizes anyone he crosses paths with. When Lex debuts this season, it's been years since he dropped out of the public eye and he's re-emerging hellbent on correcting a personal injustice by enacting revenge on the two people he feels have wronged him — Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch).
The new season of Superman & Lois premieres on March 14th.
Massive Cudlitz fan, but........HUUUUGH?! I guess in recent times Lex has been portrayed as a more "manly" guy, but It's just so far from the the Ayass Kicker MC is mostly portrayed as. Whatever, I'm glad to see him get a new gig, and maybe this means they'll finally do him in some kickass armor getup that actually looks cool.

Great choice! I loved him on The Walking Dead. I'm not a big fan of characters being recast, but Cudlitz shold be fantastic as Lex!
