Super Bowl LVII will be hosted by Fox on February 12th with a battle between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. This is also a time of battle between the studios as they will be to dishing out $7 million for a 30-second ad to promote new spots and trailers for upcoming movies hitting during the 2023 year.
Warner Bros. is looking to have a promotional spot for the June 16th release of DC’s The Flash.
Universal will be promoting the Fast & Furious franchise with the May 19th release of Fast X. on February 9, Univeral is throwing a Fast X party on the L.A. Live Event Deck with star Vin Diesel and cast for the world premiere of the tenthquel’s trailer. So we may see it even before February 12th.
Disney is dropping promotional spots for The Little Mermaid (May 26), Pixar’s Elemental (June 16), and possibly Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (June 30).
Paramount is having promotional spots for Scream VI (March 10), Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (March 31), and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (June 9). No trailer for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (July 14).
No word on Amazon/MGM, Lionsgate, and United Artists may try to slip in under the radar and we see a promotional spot for United Artists Releasing’s Creed III (March 3) or Lionsgate’s John Wick: Chapter 4 (March 24).
