Evil Dead Rise - Official Final Trailer And New Images

New Line Cinema & Renaissance Pictures' EVIL DEAD RISE will make its streaming debut on Max on June 23rd if you happen to miss it at the theater or want to check it out again.

New Line Cinema and Renaissance Pictures present a return to the iconic horror franchise, Evil Dead Rise, written and directed by Lee Cronin (The Hole in the Ground) and produced by longtime franchise producer Robert Tapert (Dont Breathe). The movie stars Lily Sullivan (I Met a Girl, Barkskins), Alyssa Sutherland (New Gold Mountain, Vikings), Morgan Davies (The End, Storm Boy), Gabrielle Echols (Reminiscence), and introducing Nell Fisher (Northspur).

Moving the action out of the woods and into the city, Evil Dead Rise tells a twisted tale of two estranged sisters, played by Sullivan and Sutherland, whose reunion is cut short by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, thrusting them into a primal battle for survival as they face the most nightmarish version of family imaginable.

Looking pretty nice. I really hope that the franchise gets into a new bold era.

Well if this is going to be an actual evil dead movie in spirit and not just in name then I will probably enjoy it.

Wow so soon? I thought this was way further back in development, anyways this is good news, I'm always very stoked about more Evil Dead stuff, and if this is anything as rad as The new Evil Dead and Ash Vs. Evil Dead well I will be very pleased.

I still really hope at some point we can get more of the story from Ash Vs. Evil Dead in some shape for form since they left that one wide open in the end.

Are you sure that isn't a photoshop of the movie poster from Smile? I haven't looked to see who that woman is but she looks almost exactly like girl from that movie.

Either way I'm excited to see some new material from the Evil Dead franchise. Thing is they'll probably do the same thing they've done when they "modernize" every other classic property. I'll give it a shot, though.

While I don't really expect it to be better than the average, it's good to know who are the producers behind the movie. It's still a shame that companies did not want Bruce to play Ash for at least another three times.
