DC Studios Co-chairmen and CEO James Gunn has confirmed the report by Collider about the voice cast of Frank Grillo, David Harbour, Maria Bakalova, Indira Varma, Zoe Chao, Alan Tudyk, Sean Gunn, and Steve Agee for DC’s new animated series Creature Commandos.

The seven-episode show focused on the creation of a black ops team out of prisoners (a precursor to the Suicide Squad in DC mythology). The show is written by James Gunn but currently doesn’t have a premiere date as of yet.

Quite the promising cast indeed! I do hope for David Harbour's sake that if they do get to live action appearances he gets to mo-cap Frank rather than go through another round of Hellboy-level makeup!

There's some great talent on board for this project! I hope that it ends up that most of these make live action debuts as well.
