According to the revised release date schedule provided by Warner Bros. Pictures, Matt Reeves' The Batman 2 will no longer premiere on Oct. 3, 2025. Instead, it is now scheduled to release on Oct. 2, 2026. It is important to note that Robert Pattinson portrays Batman in Reeves' cinematic universe.
It is worth mentioning that Reeves' Batman does not belong to the James Gunn universe. James Gunn is currently working on another Batman film titled Batman: Brave and the Bold, with Andy Muschietti serving as the director. In Muschietti's version, the role of Batman will be recast.
