CinemaCon attendees were given an exclusive sneak peek at the extended trailer and a 3D scene from Paramount's animated film Transformers One. The official release of the trailer is scheduled for April 18. Additionally, Paramount revealed the logo for the upcoming animated movie, offering a glimpse into the origin story.
The scene shown in 3D as the guys seek refuge inside a train and tussle with Elita-1. The train speeds of and crashes through the surface. “It’s beautiful,” says Orion Pax who begs Elita to listen to what he has to say, “We know where the matrix of leadership is… We found a message… It will change all of our lives.” The story takes place on Cybertron, which has been described as a character in itself.
The voice actors in Transformers One are Chris Hemsworth (Orion Pax/Optimus Prime), Brian Tyree Henry (D-16/Megatron), Scarlett Johansson (Elita), Keegan-Michael Key (Bumblebee), Jon Hamm (Sentinel Prime), and Laurence Fishburne (Alpha Trion).
The movie depicting the origins story is scheduled to be released on September 13. Produced by Paramount Animation and Hasbro in collaboration with New Republic Pictures, it is helmed by Josh Cooley. The production team includes Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Tom DeSanto, Don Murphy, Michael Bay, Mark Vahradian, and Aaron Dem. Serving as executive producers are Steven Spielberg, Zev Foreman, Olivier Dumont, Brian Oliver, B.J. Farmer, and Matt Quigg.
