The voice cast is good, and we thought it was fun. We liked the animation, too, although not all the character designs, but the style reminds me a lot of comic book artists Gurihiru, which I love. It's also the first animated series that I can remember that's featured Lois's dad, General Lane, and I think they did a good job with him and their relationship. There are a few things that they did that other Superman cartoons don't that I don't want to talk about here, because I don't want to post spoilers for those who haven't seen it (and I would suggest others do their best to avoid spoilers, as well). It very much has an anime feel (PG anime), which is not for everyone.

One nitpick I guess is Jimmy isn't supposed to be the same age as Lois & Clark.
They all start as interns at the Daily Planet. It's another continuity. There's been so much Superman over the last 80-something years that retellings and different takes on characters are inevitable. There's also explicit mentions of SPOILERY THING I DON'T WANT TO GO INTO ANY MORE DETAIL ABOUT that tells the audience pretty explicitly that this Lois, Clark, and Jimmy are not supposed to be the ones they might already be familiar with.

I still hate this logo with passion though, so much so maybe I could have far better view on the show if logo was more classic or my favorite Max Fleischer logo.
Yeah, it's not even really "Adult Swim" time, it's Toonami's block that it's a part of. Sure, Toonami is technically in the Adult Swim time frame, but it's such a separate slate of programming. And a perfect home for this show.

Season 2? Seems odd that I've never even heard of this show. Guess I'm not all that plugged in to what's going on with WB stuff these days.
