Deadline has announced that Macaulay Culkin will be joining the cast of Season 2 of Fallout, the acclaimed series from Kilter Films available on Prime Video, in a recurring role portraying a character described as a brilliant yet eccentric genius.
Produced by Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, and Graham Wagner, Fallout draws inspiration from the video game series created by Bethesda Game Studios. Set two hundred years following the apocalypse, the once-comfortable inhabitants of opulent fallout shelters are compelled to emerge into the irradiated wasteland their forebears abandoned. To their astonishment, they encounter a remarkably intricate, delightfully bizarre, and intensely violent world that awaits them.
The series features Ella Purnell in the role of Lucy, with Aaron Moten portraying Maximus. Walton Goggins takes on the character of the Ghoul, alongside a talented cast that includes Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O’Hagan, and Xelia Mendes-Jones.
Athena Wickham from Kilter Films serves as an executive producer alongside James Altman for Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks. The production is a collaborative effort between Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films, in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks.
