Storm Collectibles Doing 1:12 Scale Gears Of War Figures

Thanks to ToysDaily we now know that Storm Collectibles will be doing a new line of 1:12 scale figures based on the Gears Of War video game series. Shown below are images of their Marcus Fenix and Augustus Cole figure which come via Toys Daily. The Fenix figure looks to include multiple hands, interchangeable heads, interchangeable hands, a knife, and multiple guns. The Cole figure looks to include two guns, multiple hands, a knife, and a football helmet. The figures are said to cost $65 each. Stay-Tuned for more details on these and other news from Storm Collectibles coming this weekend during the New York Toy Fair.

Oh, if they did that would probably explain why I've never seen them. I only ever saw Neca in person at TRU, but that would be only four times a year I'd go there. Now that they're at Target, I see the brand more.

NECA did some amazing Gears figures for a while now. They stopped doing anything really great tho when they started doing like 2 gears 4 figures. They werent fully articulated and poseable but their details were amazing.

This is a line I'd like to see in hand before I start. It only makes sense that we'd get some well made Gears figures from someone eventually. I'm glad it was Storm, I think the build of these characters fits the Storm aesthetic.

These look alright. Marcus' likeness seems off and Coles seems ok. Im also not sure what version these are of. Either Judgement or a new one because they are definitely not from 1-4. Maybe from the upcoming 5.. idk. But my NECA gears figs do it enough for me.
