The new one looks better than the old one, no doubt.

Yeah, i saw that. It's crazy that he looks evenwider and fullerthan the original release...because, whenI owned the original, he waseasilythe most massive and round figure in my collection. Unreal..

Yeah honestly the pics ive seen of the sfv fig floating around doesnt really do him justice. They make him look so awkward and weird. I go look at it and im like damn he looks so good, how could he look so weird in the pics. But that alone makes me want that new gief even more. If the one i have looks as good as that, just imagine how even better the new one is. I dont have too many of the SF line since I have all the sota and felt putting my attention on other fighting game properties from storm since not alot have had great figures come out. So once i get the new gief, one of them will just be a permanent marvel vs capcom character XD.

I wasnt sure I was going to like it as much as the previous release but I think he looks great, will definitely pre order. I sold off theother Zangief a while back (got it for $75 and sold it for $200) but always had been keeping an eye out for another at a decent price.

@EvilHayatodoes this look any bigger than the other release to you?

I debate on getting rid of my SFV gief.. since its the blue version but I do enjoy his proportions. Reminiscent of how he looks in the SFA and VS games from the 90s and they always had them with variant alt colors. I preordered this guy because he does look bigger, the broader chest looks good as well as his alt hands.. and the fact that he has the banishing flat effect. I can live in a world with 2 zangiefs. If they make a mecha gief, my wallet will burn up tho. Also heres a pic thats been circling that gives you a good comparison. It does appear hes a little bigger.

$99 is not too bad considering the SFV was $95. I had got mine for $55. Zangief is a favorite character of mine and I find it hard not to want this one too. Hnnnngg decisions..

Zangief is a gigantic Russian wrestler knows as the Red Cyclone. His fighting style is Russian and American Pro wrestling mix. He may look totally fearsome, he's actually a very friendly guy to many people. He believes that muscles are supreme, and has spent years refining his body and muscles.Features: -Brand New Developed Body and Articulations-4 x Interchanging Head-sculpts-4 x Interchanging pair of Hands-Green Glove Effect-Fire Ball EffectRelease Date: Q3 2021

Not bad. I really liked the first SFII figures they released back then but due to my financial situation I never dared to "press the trigger". I'm still wonder if they still have any plans for FotNS or will they just let the license expire.

Im sure Kenshiro is still in the pipeline. We can never predict whats going on with Storm. Theyve shown so many projects that seemed to be in limbo and some have already been released. They had shown alot of the Injustice that seemed to take forever to get to us and now they all are.. Same with unmasked sub zero who was in the same questioning of is he ever even going to come out? Just gotta be patient. Id imagine we ll start seeing more stuff show up soon since toyfair would be happening soon so we ll see.

Hmmm..I dont think it's actually any bigger than the previous release. It looks like the same mold to me just streamlined. Yeah, $95 was the previous piece but that was like what 2018, right? Storm seems to be going up with their prices. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Storm price is$100 and change AND it doesn'thave as many accessories as the previous releases. But we'll see...

Its definitely a new sculpt. In all their SF2 figures that have also been made in their SFV iterations, they have all beenlarger than their SFV versions. It would stand to reason that the biggest character in the game would be larger as well. He will definitely have at least the same amount of stuff as SFV Gief if not more since he will most likely have his Banishing Flat green hand accessory. Most likely they will also include his lariat effect just like in the sfv version. Thats all you really need for Gief aside from the usual extra hands and an extra head or two.

Most likely he will be larger than the SFV release which means he will be at least $95 like that release. Its definitely more anime inspired with alot less detail and more animated looking. Im very curious to see how big hes going to come out as. I have the blue sfv Gief... definitely curious to see this guys proportions.
