Thats pretty much how it goes with any figures tho. Very very rarely you pay less and find high demanded items years after release. I mean look at even marvel legends. If you havent bought just about any of thexmen that have been released, you are stuck either paying higher aftermarket prices or hoping/waiting for a re-release. Altho unlike that, Storm doesnt re-release anything so if you want it, buy it within the first year or pay out the butt to catch up. It sucks, I agree with you, but its life with collectingunfortunately. Get some of those skellies tho! they are so good and can be used for all kinds of things.
Saw this earlier, she looks so badass. I find it so wild that shes as expensive as Gillius. Theres so much more with her than with him. Hell she even gets the dragons fire effect! Hopefully this is a sign of where Storm has come with female molds and we see more female figures coming. They definitely have at least 4 announced coming as well as what seems like Kitana finally coming.

He looks awesome. I find this listing of him very interesting in a few ways. A smaller character and mount compared to Axe Battler who was $110-120... and this one being upped 15 more.. I find this troublingthat means the prices only keep moving up and that sucks. On a more positive note, it looks like the silver skellies arent the only new skellies coming. We got gold and what looks like a matte blue version. They really have been going nuts with those guys. Altho I must say, they are stupidly fun figures.

Golden Axe looks awesome, but I don't think I would pick up nonetheless. Hoping for more MK releases like Lui Kang himself or Shang Tsung! Would love to know when injustice Batman and Superman would drop for a preorder.
He looks awesome, he ll look awesome to those collecting the line. I would if I could. Altho I do have 2 sets of skellys which are amazing.

definitely wont happen, but they are at least bringing out different versions of the skellies. The fun in collecting imports/storm stuff.

and yes this is true the mounts are going to for certain make these expensive pieces, I totally can vibe with that, because the beasts alone are probably worth 45+ , with that in mind I would love to see these figures released without them, at a lower price point, I do love getting the mounts but I don't feel a massive need for them personally, they look great though but just having the characters on their own would be suffice, now with all this Golden Axe talk I got the great desire to go hammer out a session in GA 2

And thats right, Id take what I can get if I cant get it all, at least get the favorite character. Those silver skellys arent too much different from the white ones. Hell even the red ones are pretty sweet. I would imagine each character is going to hit above 100 in our currencies since they all come with mounts.
Yeah cons were always great, I mean not always is there a deal to be found, but I have found decades worth of success in haggling and bundling, and of course skipping the shipping charges and exchange rates.
