Could be, Im also not a fan of too much articulation, especially when it compromises the overall look of the figure with too many gaps and what not. Definitely prefer figures to statues, but more so the middle ground. Marvel Select and NECAfigures tend to have the perfect amount of articulation for me.

NECA and Marvel Select figures really are as close to articulated statues as you can get. They have articulation but you cant get them in very dynamic poses hardly ever. Some of the stuff NECA has recently brought out are alot better but most arent like that. NECA for the most part always did statuesque style figures up until a few years ago when they started to slowly add more articulation points to their stuff.

Storm manages to do do much better. The thing is fighting character have to be able to get some crazy poses or at least mimic those from the games that they are from.

All these SHF have a very anime look face. Maybe that is whey you feel a little thrown off. I like them, but between them and Storm, I would definitely go with storm.

The articulation is great, but I think I prefer the old SOTA Street Fighter line in terms of looks and displaying.

I did not say that, I was referring to your generalization of what you would have to be to not like these figures.

Alright, sorry bro.

I don't have any Street Fighter SHFs but I think I will start to add them to my collection. They look really good and the articulation is so well done. I guess the only set back is if you don't like anime.
