I'm really excited about this set. I really felt like I missed out after I (stupidly) passed on the original Popeye.

Thing with Popeye's story... It's closer to reality than most animated tv stories back in the days. Parents have to discuss the storyline and characters to their kids or they may be misinterpreted by kids.
