New 6" Robocop Figure From Good Smile Company

Good Smile Company is looking to do new Robocop based figures. They are doing a Hagane Works Series Robocop figure which will stand around 6.7" tall and includes three interchangeable lower jaws, interchangeable hands, swap out battle damaged parts, a Cobra Assault Cannon, a functional thigh holster, auto-9 pistol and based that doubles for a storage bin to hold the accessories. The figure will also feature die-cast metal parts.

Good Smile also plans on doing a Moderoid version of ED-209. Look for more details on that one to be released soon. Look for Robocop to go up for pre-order soon. Check out the images below via ameblo.jp.

I'd almost rather it cost more so I wouldn't have to put it together, but I have my Hot Toys Ed, so I'm good.

We told you yesterday how Good Smile Company was launching a new line of Robocop figures which included a 6.7" Hagane Works Series Robocop figure as well as a Moderoid version of ED-209. Today via our sponsor Hobbylink Japan we have more details and looks for ED-209.From the film"ROBOCOP" comes a MODEROID plastic model kit of the ED-209, the peacekeeping machine manufactured by Omni Consumer Products. The model stands at around 20cm (7.9") tall once completed. Its joints, pistons and slide rails are articulated, allowing you to recreate intimidating poses and comical poses alike.The model kit is made of PS and ABS plastic with POM and PE used for some joints and features runners separated into four colors (light gray, silver, medium gray, dark gray). Wires have been used to recreate the cables connecting to its arms. Water-slide decals are included for further detailing. Preassembled joints are included, making the model easy to pose. Diecast metal, multiple interchangeable parts, better qc...I don't know if it warrants a $100 price tag, but a figure like this has a higher price point for a reason.

I dont get how Neca can do him for less $20 but Japanese toy companies always cost 4 to 5 times more... ED209 costs less than this guy and it had a sound feature!

Looks quite awesome, but I'd say It's going to cost to much, the Robocop stuff NECA was giving us was suffice enough
