Over the last few days,
Mattel has been posting some great
reveals about upcoming
Masters of the Universe-related figures. The
reveals all took the same shape, with a '
curtain reveal' graphic, and big yellow text at the top. A good time to remind folks that
Mattel is a
multi-million dollar company...
We, at
ToyFarce, got a little
suspicious about it on the third day. Usually, one day of reveals is nice, a surprise reveal on the second day is great, but three days in a row? Outside of
ToyFair or any big event? There had to be something
fishy going on. We contacted one of our sources at
Mattel, who confirmed to us that there is an issue with the "
reveal machine", that kept creating reveal graphics, even when no one asked.
The problem has now been
fixed, and hopefully, there will not be more
reveals for a while, unless it is
on purpose.
