ToyFarce News: More Random TMNT Two-Packs?!

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy line has has some of the weirdest mash-ups in the history of toy lines (with the Transformers line as a close second, with their Collaborative figures). Just in the last decade, there has been Ghostbusters Ninja Turtles, WWE Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers Ninja Turtles, and more recently, two-packs with Cobra Kai characters (?), two-packs with Street Fighter characters (??) and announced last week, two-packs with Stranger Things characters (???).



That makes you wonder, what other two-packs are on the way? Since nobody could have seen the Stranger Things two-packs coming, ToyFarce did a bit of digging on Playmates' future plans with our favorite crime-fighting turtles, and since we can expect the unexpected, here are our speculations about the next two-packs!


TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES x BREAKING BAD
If the Ninja Turtles are gonna cross over with TV shows that are not for children, like Stranger Things, why not make the turtles try to hunt down a drug lord like Eisenberg, before they realize that they were all being played by Shredder, so they join forces to fight him? The turtles could even use Eisenberg's blue stuff mixed with mutagen to enhance their powers! (Too much?).

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES x MINIONS
On the other hand, the latest animated series, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, was really aimed at children, so why not cross paths with another kid franchise, the Minions!
Chances of happening: 1/100.




TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES x STAR TREK
There were already figures of the Turtles in Starfleet uniforms in the 90's, but having Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michaelangelo actually team up with the crew of the Enterprise could lead to many great stories (even if they use the Michael Bay versions of them...). Playmates does have the Star Trek license, with the figure line on the verge of hitting our shelves again...

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES x DINOSAURS
Another hit show from the 90's that could make a comeback with the turtles (a bit like Cobra Kai made a comeback and was then associated with the turtles), would be the 90's hit comedy, Dinosaurs! Who would see that one coming?

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES x GOLDEN GIRLS (most likely to happen)
Finally, the most obvious one: there are 4 Ninja Turtles, there are 4 Golden Girls. This thing writes itself! The real question is: Who would you pair with who?
