It all started with the announcement." recalls the collector. "
I was very excited so I knew that the second the pre-orders would open, I would need to jump on it. And I did!". Within seconds after the pre-order went online, the order was placed, nearly
mechanically, before moving on with his day. "
I went to work, had a really long, busy day, so when I came home and saw an email about the figure now being available for pre-order, I kinda forgot I had already grabbed it, so i just added it to my cart and proceeded with the checkout." That was number 2.

With most websites letting you pre-order items without paying up front, it is fairly easy to add one too many in your orders. A few days later, I was out with my friends, and saw some new pictures of the figure all over my feed. The figure was trending again. I had had a few beverages, so I immediately thought 'I need this!' and just ordered (my third) one."
But wait, there is more! "
Then, weeks later, I got an email from my usual store warning fans to order that figure, as they were close to selling out their future stocks. There was no way I could miss out on this, right?... So i ordered it again..."
"
I noticed it a few weeks later, when I was checking my account to see the status of another order, and saw that there were FOUR orders within a short period of time, so I called them to cancel the extra 3. It's all sorted out now, but it was a very embarrassing phone call."
