This weekend,
AEW held their
Double of Nothing pay-per-view event in
Las Vegas, along with the
AEW Double or Nothing Fan Fest, where
Jazwares announced a ton of upcoming figures for their
AEW Unrivaled and
AEW Unmatched lines.
ToyFarce was present at the
MGM Grand Convention Center to ask about the future of the line...
AEW fans from all around the world rejoiced as the line up for
AEW Unrivaled Series 14 and
15, and
AEW Unmatched Series 9 and
10 were revealed at the event, along with a few
Ringside Collectibles or
Walmart exclusives.
ToyFarce sat down with a representative of the brand to talk about what the future holds for
AEW action figures:
"
Well, sadly, for All Elite Wrestling, we can't call our action figures 'Elite', due to the competition already using it..." said the representative. "
So we had to be creative, and first started using 'Unrivaled' for the brand. As we needed a second line, in order to have more figures on the shelves at the stores, we looked into synonyms and found 'Unmatched'. For higher quality figures, there was another synonym, 'Supreme'. But we might not end there. There's still 'Unequalled', 'Unbeaten,' 'Unsurpassed', 'Unparalleled' (might be confusing), 'Unexcelled', 'Unbeaten'... and that's just the words starting with 'Un-'.! Then, we can get to longer ones, like 'Second to none', 'Beyond compare', 'In a class of its own', etc... The future is bright for Jazwares and AEW!"
What would you name the next
AEW toy line?
