unfortunate accident happened during the first day of the
NECA Convention Exclusives 2023 Pre-Sale, as Nick, a long time collector, sprained his finger on his computer mouse while trying to beat the competition and be the fastest one to check out.

So here is what happened: First, I logged in an hour before to make sure that I would be able to go faster through the checkout process, but NECA ended up changing their whole website right before the end of the countdown, so I went into panic mode! When the countdown reached zero, I refreshed, grabbed all the items in my cart, and rushed to the checkout. Then, I had to enter my email and address, so I moved my hand from the mouse to type on the keyboard, and after I entered all the info, and went back to the mouse: BAM! I hit my finger on the side of it, and the mouse flew from the table to the ground. I felt an intense pain on my finger, but then decided to use the touchpad of my laptop with my other hand to complete the checkout! There was nearly an issue with the t-shirt size of the Keno set, my size was already sold out, but I managed to change it in the nick of time."

After all was said and done, my finger kept hurting, so I put some ice on it for a while. It still hurts a bit today, but it should be fine. I'm happy with my haul. I just hope I don't get a scar! Oh, I also need a new mouse..."
