It's
Wednesday, and you know what that means...
ToyFarce review!
This week, we're having a look at the
Donatello as the Invisible Man figure from the
Universal Monsters x TMNT line from
NECA. Another great entry for that line, the fourth turtle (
but number one in our hearts!) is finally here.
Donatello as the Invisible Man is a clever one, since they are both into science. It makes total sense!

Donatello as The Invisible Man comes with an
extra head,
4 extra pairs of hands (
including a pair of 'invisible' ones), an
extra pair of 'invisible' feet, Donnie's
bo staff, a
hat,
removable glasses, a
microscope, a
beaker and his
journal. The figure looks pretty awesome to begin with, but it also has a
transparent shell through which we can
pizza slices, which is great fun.

His default head has
transparent eyes under the bandages and removable glasses, but the extra head is
hollow, so you can see that there is nothing inside (
and it has hair!). The transparent hand and feet are also very nice. All the extra hands have a use, depending of which accessory you want to display him with. Another home run set from
NECA!

The next figure in that line,
Casey Jones as the Phantom, is already out (
and on the way), and while there is no other figures announced for the moment, I hope that there's plenty more to come!
Daniel Horne, the artist that designed the packaging art for that line, has been teasing selling some of his drawings, and there were a couple that haven't been announced yet (
Leo as the Creature from the Black Lagoon,
Raph as the Wolfman), so crossing fingers for those!

An invisible man is a man with power,... dudes!
