In an
unprecedented turn of events, the
unthinkable happened: a toy collector has successfully managed to
solve a quality assurance (QA) issue without resorting to a
public outcry on social media! The collector, who remains a complete enigma to the toy community, is being hailed as either a
master negotiator or simply
out of his mind. ToyFarce investigated...
Earlier this week, toy collector
Carl from
New Hampshire unboxed his latest action figure, only to find a
glaring flaw:
one of the figure’s eyes was slightly off-center, giving it an unintended "permanently surprised" expression. Any regular collector would know that this is prime material for a
37-tweet thread, complete with
close-up photos, hashtags like
#ToyFail, and
tagging every single account the
toy company owns (
including employees... yikes), but not
Carl.
Instead,
Carl did the
unthinkable:
He decided to contact customer service directly. What followed has been described as a “
swift and reasonable exchange” between Carl and the toy company, where the representative apologized for the issue and immediately shipped out a replacement figure.
No tantrums, no threats to boycott the brand or sell his entire collection, no attempts to rally an angry mob.
Fellow collectors were left baffled. “
This is completely unheard of. He didn't even start a Facebook poll to see how many others had the same issue!” exclaimed one collector in disbelief. Another added: “
The guy didn’t even upload an angry video on Youtube. What’s his secret? How can someone just...handle things like that?”
Despite the controversy online,
Carl remains silent on the matter, further deepening
the mystery. His only statement was a brief, level-headed post on a forum, thanking the company for their excellent customer service and confirming that the replacement figure was flawless.

We should all be more like Carl.
*ToyFarce News is parody news for laughs and not meant to be taken seriously!
That's because immediately following the exchange with Customer Service, a corporate assassin was sent to smother him with a party-sized Cheetos bag and to hack his forum account so he could leave a positive statement.

Carl was one of the best of the operative, but after this fiasco, a huge letdown, he was no longer needed in any hatersgaters groups. What a sad story.
This could only happen on Toyfarce. ?
