Jun Planning again sent TNI a preview of their upcoming The Nightmare Before Christmas products. Check out below Pumpkin King, Behemoth, and Mayor from action figure series 1.

Review: Pumpkin King

Appearance
Pumpkin King is so far the best looking figure out of the line. The straw portions are highly detailed with sculpted in texturing in addition to paint wash. The jacket has sculpted in folds and seams. The head too has all the shape and texturing it needs to look like more than just a plastic action figure. Pumpkin King is an excellent combination of detailed sculpt and paint to make this figure look as good as he does in the movie.

Articulation
Pumpkin King has a lot of useful articulation. There are ball jointed shoulders and hips. The elbows and knees both can bend. One hand is interchangeable holding a torch. Balance is not good though, because of the tiny feet. As with the other figures expect to use the included stand.

Final Judgment
Pumpkin King looks good, but also fits in stylistically with more lines or as a generic Halloween display piece. Pumpkin King also doesn’t really need other figures to be displayed with because he looks so great by himself. Pumpkin King is a good buy whether or not you are a fan of the movie.

Review: Behemoth

Appearance
Behemoth doesn’t quite have the detailed look of Dr. Finklestein because of the large, smooth white areas. The only real detailing is some of the texturing on the overalls. The size and proportions are good though, and the facial expression is excellent. The colors of the character are a little dull, so they don’t stand out like on Pumpkin King or Mayor, but I think the color tones match the movie appearance well. He looks good with other characters from this line. Overall this figure is a good representation of Behemoth, but lacks something to help him stand out on the shelf.

Articulation
Behemoth has swivel arms, and a swivel at the glove line. The head rotates at an angle so it is hard for him to look left or right. He comes with an interchangeable hand and nutcracker. His balance is poor because of his tiny feet (which are movie accurate), so the included stand is a must.

Final Judgment
There aren’t really any great poses Behemoth can do, but he does have some articulation. He’ll probably be limited staying on his stand on display. Overall I’d suggest this figure only if you’re a fan of the character. The visual character design isn’t very exciting compared to other figures in the line like Pumpkin King.

Review: Mayor

Appearance
Mayor is a little brighter than I was expecting, but the skin tone works. The arms look a little strange sticking out to the side, but he looks good holding his accessories. There isn’t really any detailing because there aren’t any dull colored areas. Because of all the different colors and aspects of his clothing to detail the detailing was unnecessary. A paint wash would have helped him fit in a little better stylistically with the other figures, but he still looks good. The arms joints are a little obvious on this figure, but overall Mayor depicts the movie character very well.

Articulation
Mayor’s arms rotate in two places, and the head rotates to reveal his two faces. The hands are interchangeable and come with drawings to hold. He suffers from small feet though, so the included stand is necessary.

Final Judgment
Mayor is a better character for display than figures like Behemoth. The bright skin tone helps him stand out, and there are no obvious flaws. The accessories make him a little better to pose, but his poses are still basically all the same. While Mayor doesn’t go well stylistically with many lines, Mayor is still a good enough figure for anyone who likes the character design.

I'm not sure where. I don't think they're out quite yet too. Jun Planning didn't give me a lot of information about where or when, mostly just what they were producing.

Where can I find these?
