MP-12T Masterpiece Tigertrack - This Ain't No Sunstreaker

BIGBADTOYSTORE.com has up for pre-order a new Masterpiece Transformer named Tigertrack. This is a yellow repaint of the Sideswipe mode. When I first saw the car mode I thought Takara was finally releasing a MP Sunstreaker which I was excited about, but then noticed it was using the same mold as Sideswipe. In the original G1 line, though Sideswipe and Sunstreaker were brothers, in a toy rarity they actually gave both characters unique molds. I will admit that I am not familiar with all the obscure Transformers characters that have been released over the years and can honestly say I have never heard of Tigertrack. I don't know if this was a pre-established character that used the Sideswipe mold back in the day like Red Alert, or if this is just some character Takara made up to get more use of the new one. I hope Takara eventually gets around to making a unique mold for Sunstreaker, but for now if you want a yellow Lamborghini then you may want to check this one out.
