You're right! I wonder why McFarlane went with this version? Would've preferred the BTAS version. As it is I'll likely pass on him.

I think that too. Even the Superman looks more like the JLU version rather than the animated series with its super wide shoulders.

There minor differences but looking at it closely I have to say you are right.
