This week's TNI Cool Custom is of some 3.75" Watchmen figures by
ZombieRob.
Here is how he describes the making of them.
"Here is my latest project..The Watchmen. With the Before Watchmen books coming out I really wanted to finally make a 3.75" set of Watchmen customs. Watchmen remains one of my all time favorite works in comic history. I really wanted to do each piece justice. These figures are made from a variety of GI Joe, Marvel Universe and Star Wars pieces with mods and sculpting. Each piece was important to me as each character has a warm spot in my heart. This was really a passion project for me and I'm really happy with the set as a whole. Thanks in advance for any comments and feedback "

dude,
these are awesome for custom-jobs, and hopefully some corporate-suit reading these forums sees this and gets inspired to bring the idea to their company....
with 6" figures being @$30, Mattel will be missing out on a lot of money and opportunity.
this 3 3/4" idea is perfect and allows them the possibility of extending the series a bit more affordably--- so that the minutemen and other characters will be somewhat attractive to buy also, in order to complete a collection....
